VILLAGE SAINT VINCENT DE PAUL stands out for the rare quality of its built heritage, comprising three buildings of character that offer an exceptional urban frontage.
The new building, Denfert. Contemporary architecture, open to outdoor spaces and a shared rooftop area.
A first rehabilitated building, Robin. A superb building erected in the XIXth century at the heart of the former Saint-Vincent-de-Paul hospital, it reflects classical hospital architecture, with regular volumes, understated façades and large openings designed to admit light.
A second rehabilitated building, Oratoire. A building founded in the XVIIth century as the novitiate of the Congregation of the Oratory, it illustrates an older architecture of residential wings organised around a main courtyard and a chapel built in1657.
Robin and Oratoire will be fully rehabilitated to provide homes with all the comfort of new build, while preserving their unique heritage identity.
The whole is enhanced by a demanding environmental approach, going beyond standards, with an ambitious commitment to eco-design, energy efficiency and reducing carbon impact.
Robin and Oratoire are aiming for the BBCA (Low Carbon Building) label, renovation version. This would certify that the renovation processes are respectful of resources and carbon-efficient. It is a rare label, which particularly enhances existing heritage.
The use of bio-based materials, such as timber or any other material derived from biomass, will offer better thermal and hygrometric comfort and an improvement in indoor air quality.
Village Saint Vincent de Paul, a mixed-use, lively and animated development
Continuing the site's cultural heritage and conceived as a new focal point for the neighbourhood, the project combines homes, shops and cultural facilities, including a concert hall, a theatre and an exhibition space. The ground floors of Robin and Oratoire will host, among others, food shops and restaurants.
VILLAGE SAINT VINCENT DE PAUL is not merely a property development in Paris; it is an inspiring, lively, creative and sustainable neighbourhood, where historic architecture meets innovation to create an exceptional living environment.
A rare place where heritage, culture and modernity come together.
