TOWN OF HONFLEUR Honfleur is a French commune located in the Calvados department, in the Normandy region. A port town, it lies on the southern bank of the Seine estuary, opposite Le Havre, close to the exit of the Pont de Normandie. Known for its Vieux Bassin, characterised by its houses with slate-covered façades, it has been depicted many times by artists, including Gustave Courbet, Eugène Boudin, Claude Monet and Johan Barthold Jongkind, who formed the École de Honfleur. These painters and others contributed to the emergence of the Impressionist movement. Alphonse Allais and Erik Satie were both born on the same street in Honfleur. THE NEIGHBOURHOOD Located in one of Honfleur's most iconic and well-preserved streets, rue Haute lies in the heart of the historic quarter. Only a few steps from the Vieux Bassin and the famous Sainte-Catherine church, it offers a rare authenticity of living environment. This is a prestigious address, steeped in history, where artistic spirit and residential calm come together harmoniously. 5 minutes on foot from the Vieux Bassin, restaurants and museums. Immediate proximity to art galleries and the garden of personalities. An exceptional street: listed medieval architecture, half-timbered houses and stone. A peaceful and sought-after atmosphere, offering genuine serenity in the middle of the town centre. THE PROJECT The 75 rue Haute showcases fine materials: restored period floors, small-pane joinery and bespoke kitchens. The homes are designed to be bright, offering optimal living comfort.
