The architectural ensemble located at 39, rue du Commerce displays façades punctuated with Volvic stone features that give no hint of the heritage treasures within the building. First, the long entrance hall with its fully vaulted ceiling and floor clad in Volvic stone, and the central wooden staircase, naturally lit by its glass roof. Then, in the apartments, the many remarkable features: parquet floors, panelling, plasterwork, fireplaces. All these precious testimonies to the history of the place will be preserved and restored in accordance with the rules of the craft. Sinks, also in Volvic stone, will be relocated within the charming inner courtyard.
